With the water in the teapot, warm the fragrance cups and tasting cups.

Put a suitable amount of tea leaves into the teapot using a tea scoop.

Hold up and empty water in the cups with the tea clip. Place the drinking cups onto the tea saucer.

Fill to the brim of teapot with hot water in a circular motion. Cut away bubbles over the brim with the lid of teapot.

The first brew is usually not for drinking. Instead it is poured into the fair cup and then pour evenly over the teapot. This serves to enhance the teapot, where over long period, helps it develop a natural shimmer.

Pour hot water into the teapot for the second brew, the brew for tasting. The brew is infused for about thirty seconds before serving. Skill is executed to achieve a tea which is even in colour and taste.

Serve tea from the teapot into fragrance cups. Wipe the base of fragrance cups. Place fragrance cup on each tea saucer and serve the guests.
